We had the pleasure of working with Vaunt while she was on holidays in Australia. This series called red satin, is an exercise in form, style and elegance. Vaunt literally means show off, and that she does in the most beautiful and extraordinary way.
The red adds a regal element, while Vaunt herself, is poised and moves her body in a performance art of skin, muscle control and beauty. This is what nude art can be at it’s best.
Nudity is something we all experience everyday. Vaunt shows nudity in a way most of us will never experience, because of the limitation imposed on who and where the nude body can be seen. As you the lucky few who can view these photos, you can see how much the general population is missing. They are missing something beautiful, astonishing and deeply moving. You can see why the nude body should not be censored.
