Dab Of Red

A dab of red, a splash of colour is all it takes to turn an almost monotone image into one of vibrant colour. Misty-Day is definitely full of life and full of colour.

The red is a standout amongst all the similar tones of the background. It symbolises nudity and nudism in a sea of sameness of clothing and conformity to clothing only world we live in.

It is a reflection of many aspects of social media. It highlights just how unsocial it really can be. In a bid to get rid of “bad actors” as the higher ups on social platforms give as an excuse for mass censorship, they are at the same time getting rid of real people, with a real interest in a specific interest.

They are in fact telling you what you can or can’t look at. They are saying they know better than you and its for your own good. Is it really though? Is it really for your own good? Or are they trying to push a certain type of agenda that is anti-nudity, anti-choice, anti-art?

They are basically telling anyone that enjoys nude art or nude lifestyle, that their choice is wrong, and that it is so bad that it has to be hidden away in a dark corner of the internet. That is not pro-choce.

So in a world where homogenisation is becoming a standard. A standard that is gradually bit by bit creeping up on us in the same way that water temperature is gradually being turned up on the poor frog, people like Misty-Day are standouts in a crowd of conformity. Anyone that sheds there clothes in a world that shuns nudity is the dab of red in a sea of darkness.
