Nude Celebrity
People like to cosplay and dress up as their favourite character. Can you cosplay nude? Misty-Day shows that you certainly can with a nude Katniss character of the hunger games movie.
Jennifer Lawrence who played Katniss in the hunger games series was the center of “the fappenning” nude photo hack. That brings about the question, would that have been an issue if nudity played a greater part in our everyday lives? Would hackers have gone to such lengths if Jennifer were a nudist? Is Jennifer being held back by the celebrity machine, agents, film studio bosses, and similar, from being nude?
It is a question we may never be able to answer without knowing the inner workings of film studios. We can however speculate. Jennifer did pose implied nude after the fappening to send a message to people, but would she have done so otherwise? Would her agents let her? We think most likely not and certainly would never be allowed to pose full frontal nude. At least not while she is popular.
Which brings about another question. Why is posing nude seen as a last ditch, desperate effort to gain attention? Why does hollywood do that? Why can’t they let actors who want to be nude, or are actual nudists in real life, because there are many who are, to be nude whenever they want to? Why can’t they pose nude for a magazine or do an interview nude? Why is it seen just as an attention grabbing exercise?
There are many theories and ideas why this is so, and we hope you think about why as well. In the meantime Misty-Day makes a fabulous Katniss. A type of Katniss that Jennifer Lawrence could never be. One that isn’t seen as vulnerable in her nudity. But one that can face the world totally fully nude, and still be strong.
