A Bedtime Story
Once upon a time there was a beautiful naked woman called Keira....a sleeping beauty lying naked lost in the forest, waiting for prince charming to wake her with a kiss. Whoa, what century is this? Keira is the modern version of sleeping beauty. She does not need someone to wake her from a spell. She is a capable woman who can look after herself and can find her own prince charming if she wants to. Still she does make a very beautiful nude princess in a rainforest surrounded by pretty flowers....
We did these photos at a popular rainforest walk. Normally during the week it is a very empty place. However as luck would have it, we became people magnets. The funny thing is that every person that came across our photo shoot and saw Keira standing totally nude in the creek bed, had a positive comment. One elderly couple even offered to whistle on their return, to warn us of their approach. Sure enough, we heard the whistling, and we stopped to let them by. It is clear that a lot of people are fine with nudity, especially artistic nudity. It is becoming more and more clear that the "community standard" that keeps getting bandied about is one of acceptance of nudity. Not the rubbish that governments and large companies like youtube and facebook keep ramming down our throats.
