When I shot these photos what I had in mind was the American beauty idea, but with oranges. Though beautiful as you can see in the first few photos, it lacked real punch and oomph. I then thought why not backlight the scene thereby creating some powerful imagery with Silhouettes. I didn’t want to loose the colour from Cassie’s beautiful red hair which went so well with the oranges. So a balance had to be struck. These are the results of Cassie and the oranges.
