The Golden Muse

A lot of people, especially, young women, think that nudity is dirty, or rude, or overtly sexual. This series with Ashly-Bell, hammers home that nudity can be very elegant, can actually be very "high fashion". Golden Muse is about bringing high fashion to the nude body, that the nude form can be the most beautiful formal attire anyone could ever wear.

I think Ashly-Bell here could have walked right out of the pages of Vogue, or any other high fashion magazine. There is also one other very important factor to take into consideration. That is fashion itself. Fashion is fleeting, it lasts but a season, then moves on. The nude form is everlasting, and has been a form of inspiration for centuries of art, and dare I say....fashion. Take a look at how much fashion has changed and even disappeared, yet the nude body is still around and admired by many, though rarely openly.

You can see in paintings, sculptures, or any form of art, that fashion and the accessories have changed over time. In a way the nude body has been a vessel for creativity, a spark or the very muse of inspiration. A golden muse.

Whether the fashion industry likes to admit it or not, nudity also inspires it. Have a look at how much nudity is exposed on the catwalk as model strut down the runway, with breasts exposed and bobbing up and down with each step. Look at how sheer so any garments are made, yet when it reaches the shops they are opaque or far more "modest" than the ones the designer made. The designers expose skin, many do understand that it is the nude body that is the star, but it never reaches the shop shelves.

Nudity is always beautiful, fashionable, elegant and far more unique than any dress. It can be accessorised as it was earlier with Sahara, and be as formal and stately as you want it to be. Ashly-Bell I think shows without any doubt, that the nude form is the golden muse, that people can be proud, and trend setting, right in their own skin, if they would just use their own creativity, step out of their drab clothes, and wear the most beautiful outfit ever created....your own skin.
