Nude in Romance.
This series with Anne is called Southern Belle. There is a notion popularised in books about this. It is that romantic notion that era of whimsy that is being captured here with Anne. The perceived fragility of the nude form on such a harsh unforgiving environment as a wetland or swamp can be. The stark contrast between the two.
However this is also a visual feast of Anne’s amazing ability to move, pose and create a story with just her body. Her body at 32 years of age (when we took these photos) defies the “wisdom” out there that women of her age should not look as good as she does. Southern Belle is a mashup of all these things working in harmony to produce these images. Anne played the leading role, without which it would not have turned out as well as it did.
